At the age of two, Jazmine began her passion in pageantry when she entered the Sunburst Preliminary in October 2001. During the preliminary, Jazmine did a phenomenal job by winning the Most Photogenic competition and 1st Runner-up in the overall Beauty competition. Jazmine went on to compete in the Sunburst Tri-State Beauty Pageant in May 2002 where she continued to dazzle the world with her "natural beauty and charm." At the Tri-State pageant, she achieved an extraordinary feat by winning the Little Miss Virginia Queen beauty title and the Swimwear competition. She also placed 1st Runner-up in the Most Photogenic and Composite competitions. In August 2002, Jazmine traveled to Atlanta, GA to participate in the Sunburst International Beauty Pageant where she placed in the Top 10 Beauty Finalists. There were 71 contestants from around the world in her division.

Jazmine's latest pageant achievements took place at the America's Classic Miss Preliminary in October 2002 where she astonished the pageant audience and fellow contestants by winning the Little Miss Supreme Queen title, the Most Photogenic competition, the Casualwear competition, the Optionalwear competition, Prettiest Hair competition, and Prettiest Smile competition.
